These terms govern your use of Subtitle Converter. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
Subtitle Converter provides free single-file subtitle utilities, paid subscription features such as supported Batch processing, and cloud AI transcription for supported audio and video files. Available formats, limits and features are described on the relevant tool page and Pricing. We do not promise support for formats or capabilities that are not offered.
Some features require an account. Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for your use of the service and for activity you authorize through your account.
You retain ownership of your files and content. You must have the rights and any permissions needed to submit, convert or transcribe that content, including permission to process recordings of other people where required.
You authorize us to process your content as needed to provide the requested service, including using the service providers described in our Privacy Policy. Uploading content does not transfer ownership of it to Subtitle Converter. Keep your own copies of files and results; temporary application storage is not a backup service.
Do not use the service to break the law or infringe others' rights. Do not attempt unauthorized access, attack or disrupt the service, distribute malicious files, bypass security or access controls, or circumvent service limits. Do not use another person's account without authorization.
Free subtitle conversions and supported Batch operations run locally in your browser. Batch requires an eligible active Pro or Max subscription and does not consume AI Credits. Technical limits still apply.
Cloud AI transcription uses uploaded media and may produce inaccurate, incomplete or incorrectly timed output. Review the result before using or publishing it. Service availability and uninterrupted operation are not guaranteed.
AI Credits are service usage units, not cash. Credit amounts, eligibility, validity and usage rules are governed by the current product and purchase terms shown on Pricing, in your account and during checkout. Review the displayed cost before confirming an AI task.
Paid subscriptions renew on the billing interval selected at checkout unless canceled through the available account or payment-provider flow. Review the renewal and purchase details before subscribing.
Use the billing controls in your account to manage or cancel a subscription. When cancellation is scheduled for the end of the paid period, eligible subscription access continues until that period ends. The cancellation confirmation and subscription record show the effective end date. Canceling renewal does not by itself request or guarantee a refund, and subscription cancellation does not delete your account.
Current plan features and allowance rules remain those described on Pricing and in the applicable purchase terms. Annual billing does not change a monthly allowance into an upfront annual grant.
Extra AI Credit Packs are available according to the current purchase eligibility and product rules. Review the amount, validity and terms displayed before buying. A Credit balance alone does not grant subscription features such as Batch.
Payments and refunds are handled according to the applicable purchase terms, payment-provider procedures, and applicable law. Contact support@subtitleconvert.com if you have a billing issue.
Prices and applicable taxes are shown through Pricing and checkout. No statement here limits rights you have under applicable law.
The website, software, branding and other service materials belong to their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms permit use of the service; they do not transfer ownership of its software or branding. Your content remains yours as described above.
We may maintain, update or change the service and may restrict or suspend access to address security risks, abuse, nonpayment or violations of these terms. Where appropriate and required by law, we will provide notice of material changes affecting paid services. Changes remain subject to applicable purchase terms and legal obligations.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that generated output is free from errors. You are responsible for reviewing output and deciding whether it is suitable for your purpose. This does not exclude guarantees or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Subtitle Converter is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
We may update these terms and will update the date on this page. We will provide additional notice where required by applicable law. Review the terms when continuing to use the service.
